DIY WordPress Websites and Search Engine Optimisation

Since setting up as a self employed person in 2009 I have learnt a great deal of new things, and I like to think I have developed skills that others can learn from. I have spent some time with a few people who have wanted to learn how to develop their own websites and to optimise them, and from that I have set up a little sideline business venture; coaching.

It’s not something I have spent much time doing but you never know what the future holds.

In the past 10 years 2 of the things I have spent a lot of time doing is my own SEO, to the point where this site ranks on page 1 for a lot of its keywords, and building this website using WordPress. Anyone who visits the site regularly will know that its look changes periodically as my own skills improve.

Now it is not my intention to build a website for you, or to do your SEO but to merely guide you or get you started so you can then develop your own skills.

If I can get you started before you start reading the likes of WordPress for dummies or SEO for dummies then I have done something worthwhile.

The way I like to do things is meet at your office, or somewhere quiet with a good internet connection and go through what you want to know – I don’t have a set programme, you lead the way. If you can tell me in advance that might help but at the end of the day it’s what you want that I will try to help with.

I charge an hourly rate, of £50.00; I recommend at least 2 hours a session, no more than 3 in one go. If this is something that interests you send an email to richard@draelectricals.co.uk or call me on 0191 6661009.
