What our customers say about us
Always had excellent service from Richard at DRA; he’s looked after our rental properties for years now. Always turns up on time and does a great job. Highly recommend him! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We always use DRA Electricals for our office. I would highly recommend these guys to any business. Very professional service and friendly! Thanks guys ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We are very impressed with your service, everything very professional and as you promised. As a small business we find it hard to find reliable companies to deal with, it makes a refreshing change to come across a company with similar ideals to us – a fair job at a fair price with pleasant employees and proper paperwork! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Richard and his team completed our appliance testing last week in lightning speed; punctual, polite, great value and very efficient – I highly recommend DRA Electricals. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent, friendly and efficient service. We have a lot of staff that work flexibly and Richard was happy to pop back at a later date to test their equipment which we hadn’t initially mentioned. Would recommend DRA to any organisation that needs appliance testing carried out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These guys were recommended to us and they came in recently to do the PAT Testing. The service was first class and report very professionally presented in an easy to understand format. It is rare I give 5 stars in a review however in this case it is thoroughly deserved and would recommend DRA PAT Testing Limited to any organisation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

PAT testing for Chas accreditation
CHAS is available for use by any public or private sector organisation to use when shortlisting contractors, suppliers and consultants who apply to work for them. It provides information about the health and safety part of their application. Companies apply to join the scheme so everyone knows they meet acceptable standards of health and safety compliance. Clients from both the public and private sectors are users of the scheme and database.
Chas requirements state that applicants need to submit their procedure for successfully managing the risk from portable electrical equipment, and that they should support this with examples of instruction for workers, and records of inspection and testing (including PAT testing records) completed within the past 12 months.
So in order to complete a Chas application you will need PAT testing records (aka the PAT testing Certificate Report) to show that portable appliance testing has been completed within the past 12 months.
Although HSE guidance doesn’t require all equipment be tested annually, CHAS does.
Constructionline is the UK’s largest certified pre-qualification database, saving the construction industry over £500 million a year in administration. Already used by over 60% of local authorities, they reduce duplication and save time and money by encouraging organisations to use a single source for pre-qualification.
SAFEcontractor is a health & safety accreditation scheme for contractors. It simplifies the process of demonstrating to clients that health & safety policies and procedures are in place. Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that contractors operate in a safe way. There is a need to assess contractors’ health & safety arrangements, and increasingly this is being carried out through the SAFEcontractor scheme. Many large organisations now use SAFEcontractor as their primary means of selecting contractors.
