Maintaining electrical equipment at safe standards is required to comply with health and safety; to do it correctly there is a three stage process:
- User checks
- Formal Visual Inspections
- Combined Inspection and Testing
The first two should be done in-house, rather than by the contractor who does number 3, but most companies get PAT testing done annually rather than doing anything in-house.
If you want to do something in-house to reduce how often a PAT contractor comes, then you could send a staff member on a PAT testing course.
We recommend courses run by the PAT Testing Expert.
They regularly run courses all over the country, and regularly in the North East at the Marriot hotel in Gateshead.
If you are planning to book a course, mention us and you’ll get a special discount.
“Every person involved in PAT testing should attend this course; Tim’s knowledge is second to none” – Richard Ayre, Director DRA PAT Testing Limited.
This PAT Testing Training Course has been designed to teach you as much as you need to know to begin PAT testing in your own workplace.
