PAT testing on building sites

We provide Electrical Equipment Testing for building and Construction sites

Our service for PAT testing on building sites

Since CSCS took away the ‘visitors’ card, there has been no CSCS card available for PAT testers. This actually makes complete sense as it’s not the safest place to do an inspection, but we can still help.

Our system for PAT Testing on building sites, involves working away from the ‘hard hat’ areas, in the safer locations of the site offices, cabins, canteens and store rooms.

We can easily inspect and test the electrical equipment in the site office, the canteen and the tools in storage. Tools and lighting rigs etc that are on the site, will need bringing off, to the safer areas, so that we can carry out our inspections.

This is a much better way to do the job, as a festoon light for example or an in use 110v extension lead can’t be correctly inspected if it’s attached to ceilings or going through walls.

Our inspection service will help you meet your compliance requirements, and satisfy health and safety.

The report will issue will further safeguard your systems, as it includes everything you need:

  • Full itemised descriptions of each appliance, seperated by site location.
  • Full electrical test readings for tests carried out including earth continuity, insulation resistance and polarity.
  • Log of maintenance carried out
  • Failures report, with recommended actions

We can also set you up on a risk based retest period (PAT testing frequency) and remind you when next tests are due.
